The Largest Object in Space is HUGE!
What is the largest object in space?
The most prominent object in space is enormous. It is so large that it is almost impossible to wrap our puny human minds around its size. But what IS the largest object in space?
There are a few contenders for the title "largest object in space." One is the Hercules-Corona Borealis Great Wall, which is a filament of galaxies extending over 10 billion light years. That's pretty big, but it's not the biggest.
The next contender is the Sloan Great Wall, a group of galaxies located 1.4 billion light years away from us. This structure is even more significant than the Hercules-Corona Borealis Great Wall, stretching over 11 billion light years!
And finally, we have the winner: The Quantum Foam. This mysterious structure fills all of space and contains an infinite amount of information within it. Even though we don't know what it is or how big it is, we do know that it's pretty darn big!
The size and scope of the largest object in space
To get a better understanding of just how large the largest object in space is, let's look at some numbers.
The Hercules-Corona Borealis Great Wall is about 10 billion light-years across. That means that if you…
